Some Tips for Better Dental Care


1.       Do not exceed the consumption of sugars and refined carbohydrates (sweets, chocolates, chewing gum, soft drinks, etc.) Between meals.
2.       Never force the teeth starting nuts.
3.       Brush your teeth three times a day carefully and in an orderly manner,one time being at least four minutes brushing your teeth.  Beware of improper use of dental floss and brush bristle because they can damage your gums.
4.       A worn toothbrush will not clean your teeth well. It can also damage your gums. Change your toothbrush every 2 or 3 months.
5.       Brush gently with very short movement with enough pressure so that you can feel the bristles against the gums. Remember, only the tips of the bristles clean. Do not crush or squeeze too much, let the bristles are introduced into the grooves of your teeth.
6.       Brushing your tongue will complement your hygiene.
7.       Use toothpaste containing fluoride.
8.       Use dental floss and toothpicks to supplement their oral hygiene.
9.       Brush your teeth frequently and with proper technique. Ideally, four times a day, rising, after breakfast, after lunch and after dinner.
10.   Use brushing important accessories such as dental floss and mouthwash. Flossing twice a week on a regular basis and on demand on other days. The mouthwash at least twice daily, after brushing in the morning and after brushing at night.
11.   Do not use toothpicks to draw blood from the gums and inflammation that produces odor. Use it sparingly and by strict necessity.
12.   Brush your tongue or use special cleaners for it. The vast majority of brushes, from the opposite side of the bristles and come prepared for use as clean tongues.
13.   If you notice any discomfort or frequent bleeding while brushing, consult your dentist.
